Ms. Aries Sherrell Terrell age 34 of Peoria, IL, unexpectedly departed this life at 11:17 am on Friday, November 20, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. A precious life gone too soon. Aries was born on July 9, 1986 in Peoria, IL to Tyrone and Lelia (Williams) Terrell. Aries worked at Caterpillar, Inc., as an Assembly Worker and was a bus driver for Peoria School District 150. She was also a Life Guard for George Washington Carver Center. Aries was a 2004 graduate of Woodruff High School where she was an honor student in the top 10 of her class. Aries was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and friend. She had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh like no other. She was always full of life and had a loving, caring spirit about her. Aries had four beautiful children Emari, Ashaun, Emery “Suga” and Ajheauni “Auni” who were her heart. She cherished her family and loved being around them. The bond that she had with her Mother was unbreakable, and they were truly inseparable. She was a true Daddy’s Girl and his pride and joy. She was her Brother’s Keeper and the Best Aunt anyone could ask for. She was ambitious, trustworthy, supportive, selfless, loyal, and had a sweet gentle soul. She truly touched the lives of everyone she encountered and had a heart of gold. Aries leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, Eddie Clark and Ashaun Clark; two daughters, Emery Clark and Ajheauni Clark; Parents, Lelia and Tyrone Terrell; brothers, Adrin Terrell, Tyrell Terrell Jones, Deandre (Bobbie) Terrell and Carlos Terrell all of Peoria, maternal grandmother, Ruby Lee Williams of Marianna, AR, and the father of her children Eddie Clark, II and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her brother, Rickey Hurt; Grand Parents; Robert and Willie Mae Terrell; and Grandfather Leavy Williams, Sr. A private funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church with a visitation beginning at 11 am. Pastor Harold Webster and Pastor Mike Womer will bring words of comfort. Aries will be laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery. Simons Mortuary is entrusted with arrangements. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, social distancing and attendance limits will be observed. In accordance with the Illinois Department of Public Health, Funerals are limited to 10 family members of the decedents, not including the staff. To be consistent with recommendations from the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), funeral home directors have been instructed and should follow CDC guidelines on gatherings, including those directly related to funerals, visitations, or graveside services. Funerals are limited to no more than 10 of the decedent’s immediate family members. *In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we ask that everyone in attendance: wear a face mask and refrain from hugging, kissing and shaking hands (as hard as it is to see someone you care about and not touch them). *It is our responsibility as a Funeral Directors, to do everything we can to advise families in order to honor our beloved Families and to keep everyone as safe as possible.
