Mr. Bobby “RayRay” Raetwaun King, 31, of Peoria, IL passed away at 7:30 am on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Bobby affectionately known as “Ray Ray” was born in Peoria, IL on June 25, 1989 to Lounyetta Wallace and Robert Lee King, Jr. “Ray Ray” graduated from the Elite Program. He was in the process of going to college for long distance truck driving. “Ray Ray” worked as technician for Dental Arts Lab. He was a family man and the family comedian. He was all about his kids and was their protector. “Ray Ray” was an intelligent man and didn’t mind telling folks who he was. “Ray Ray” leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Lounyetta Wallace and Robert King, Jr.; his fiance’, Miriah Garcia and baby on the way; three daughters, Araya King, Serenity King and Raeonna King; seven brothers, Trestan Wallace, Elijah Wallace, Austin King, Demetrius King, Ashton King, Robert King, IV and Mytrez Flora; two sisters, Shevon King and Seanna King; step siblings, Rakeem Campbell and Tamara Campbell` all of Peoria, IL along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by one brother, Robreco King, his paternal grandfather, Robert King, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Gamaliel and Linda Lewis. A private funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Victory Christian Church with a visitation beginning at 10 am. Pastor Charles “Chuck” Brown is the Host Pastor and Rev. Isaac Humes will officiate. Bobby will be laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery. Simons Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at SimonsMortuary.com. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, social distancing and attendance limits will be observed. In accordance with the Illinois Department of Public Health, Funerals are limited to no more than 25% or less people at the church. To be consistent with recommendations from the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), funeral home directors have been instructed and should follow CDC guidelines on gatherings, including those directly related to funerals, visitations, or graveside services. Funerals are limited to no more than 25% of the decedent’s immediate family members. *In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we ask that everyone in attendance: wear a face mask and refrain from hugging, kissing and shaking hands (as hard as it is to see someone you care about and not touch them). *It is our responsibility as a Funeral Directors, to do everything we can to advise families in order to honor our beloved Families and to keep everyone as safe as possible.
