Mr. Carlos Pentz Henderson, 43, passed away at 5:20 p.m. on November 18, 2021, at Accolade Health Care in Peoria, IL. Carlos was born on August 1, 1978 in Peoria, IL to Mamie Henderson and Wilbur Kelly. Carlos worked as a telemarketer and a chef. He was the family comedian. Family and friends wanted to be around Carlos. They all wanted to party with him and he didn’t even have to have a dime; they’d take care of him. He enjoyed listening and dancing to music. Carlos was a sharp dresser and liked to travel. He loved to cook wings, fish and barbeque. Carlos attended Prince of Peace M.B. Church. Carlos leaves to cherish his most precious memories his mother, Mamie Henderson of Peoria, IL; one sister, Ebonie Kelly of Peoria, IL and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents. A Memorial Service will be 11:30 AM Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Simons Mortuary with a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM.
