Mrs. Connie May Lollar

Mrs. Connie May Lollar, 77, of Peoria, IL transitioned to her heavenly home at 8:19 am on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. Connie was born on December 26, 1944 in Warr, WV to Norma Taylor and Noble Lollar. She married Coot Smith. Connie worked in Housekeeping at Cohen’s Furniture Store. She loved to cook, clean, dance and loved attention. Connie loved scary movies and western movies. She took care of everyone. Connie was a lover of wigs. She also played the guitar. Connie leaves to cherish her most precious memory her two sons, Norman Lollar of Peoria, IL and Lee Lollar, Jr. of Chillicothe, IL; one daughter, Ernestine Lollar of Atlanta, GA; 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 daughters, Patricia Lollar and Laura Lollar and 1 brother, Danny Lollar. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Simons Mortuary with a visitation beginning at 10:30 am. Pastor Alvin Riley, Sr. will officiate.
