    Ms. Earline Williams

    September 13, 1940 - December 5, 2021

    Earline Williams, 81 of Peoria Illinois passed away peacefully at 4:49 am on Sunday Dec 5th 2021 at Methodist Medical Center. Earline was born Sept 13th 1940 in Marianna Arkansas to Sylvester and Will Ella (Barnes) Lowe. Earline Worked at Bradley University in custodial services for 40 years and retired in 2006. Earline loved to cook, especially on the Holidays. She was a member of Agape Baptist Church where she served on the Usher board and sang in the choir. She had a passion for Bible study. Earline’s Mother passed away at a very early age and consequently, Earline often assumed the role of mother as well as sister to her seven younger siblings. She was always there to help them through rough times and situations; never complaining always humble, kind and generous. She had an infectious smile that would melt butter and if you were her friend, you could always count on her to be there for you. Earline Leaves to cherish her most precious memories one Son, Tarzie Lee (Tori) Edwards of Kewanee Il; One Daughter, Cynthia Eunece Edwards of Peoria Illinois; four Brothers, Theodore (Easter) Lowe, Joe (Fai) Lowe, Lee Andrew (Marcia) Lowe and Roosevelt (Evelyn) Bowers all of Peoria; two sisters, Carol (Anthony) Curtis of Peoria Illinois and Rosalie Johnson of Manhattan Kansas; one Grandson, Tarzie Lee Edwards Jr. of Kewanee Il, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whose lives she has impacted. Earline was preceded in death by her precious parents, Sylvester and Will Ella Lowe and three beloved sisters; Rebecca Holbrook, Mayola Patton and Ceola Copprue. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Grace Apostolic Assembly, with a visitation prior beginning at 10:00 am. Suffragan Bishop James Ware will officiate and Pastor William Postlewaite of Agape Baptist Church will bring forth the eulogy. Earline will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery. Simons Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at SimonsMortuary.com.
