Mr. Gary Darnell Duncan

January 15, 1964 - June 4, 2022

Mr. Gary Darnell Duncan, 58, of Peoria, Illinois passed away at 12:39 am on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Gary was the first son born to Joseph and Christine (Gibson) Duncan. He was a 1982 graduate of Peoria Central High School. Gary married Angela Price on August 14, 2004. Gary was a happy, outgoing and fun person to be around. He was carefree, just loved being around family and friends. He enjoyed listening to all types of music. His passion was building model cars and airplanes. Gary leaves to cherish his most precious memories his loving wife of 17 years, Angela Duncan of Peoria, IL; his step children, Natrell, Ebony and Jiquanda all of Peoria, IL; his brother, Garlan (Tu Tran) Duncan of Peoria, IL; three grandchildren; a nephew, nieces, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Simons Mortuary with a visitation beginning at 10 am. Rev. Spencer Gibson, Associate Pastor of New Life Christian Church will officiate. Simons Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at simonsmortuary.com.
