    Mrs. Jeonia Latrice Randle

    March 29, 1981 - May 4, 2019

Ms. Jeonia “Gee” Latrice Randle, 38, of Peoria, Illinois, transitioned from this life to her heavenly home at 12:22 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Unity Point Methodist Hospital. Jeonia was born on March 29, 1981 in Chicago to Deloris and Leon Randle. Jeonia confessed her hope in Christ at an early age. She attended Original Greater Rock under the leadership of Pastor Eugene Burrage. She later moved her membership to Grace Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Jeffery Ivory, Sr. Jeonia attended Mason Elementary, Marshall High School and Triccoci University where she studied cosmetology. She was a cosmetologist who loved creating hair styles for her family and friends for special events. She was also an artist that could create unique crafts. Jeonia was a loving, kind and free-spirited person. She was a joy to be around and would always have the good parties. Everywhere you go someone knew and loved Ms. Gee. She loved caring for her family; especially her boys, who were her world. Jeonia will always be remembered for her huge smile she wore on her face despite her pain. She knew life was a gift and always believed in it. She last worked at the Peoria Tri County Urban League’s Parent Child Center where her passion for caring and loving other people’s children was utilized. Jeonia leaves to cherish her most precious memory her beloved sons; Demetrius Haywood, KeJuan Irby and DeVeaughn Johnson all of Peoria; her mother Deloris of Louisville, KY; her loving companion for 17 years, Juan Irby of Peoria; her sisters, Necie Randle of Louisville, KY, Cynthia Randle (Mitchell Hendon) of Peoria and Latrina Brooks of Peoria; one brother, Tayveon Randle of Chicago, IL; one grandson, Ky’Ayre Haywood; her grandfather, Deacon Booker Ross; three nieces, Shuntiara(her son, Carter), Carprice and Tranecie; three nephews, Daquantis ( his daughters, Mila, Margo) Derek and Charles; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special love to Jeonia’s aunt Sharon Ross, who never left her side. She is preceded in death by her father; one nephew, Eric Goodwin and her maternal and paternal grandmothers, Leola Ross and Louise Randle. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church, with a visitation one-hour prior beginning at 10 AM. Host Pastor Claude L. White, Jr. will officiate and Evangelist Diane Foster will bring the eulogy. Simons Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at SimonsMortuary.com.
