Miss Kalaiya Michelle Dale Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Miss Kalaiya Michelle Dale, 12, of Peoria, IL transitioned to her heavenly home at 8:13 am on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Kalaiya was born on August 31, 2009 to Kristina Ann Rutherford and Paris Keith Dale. She attended Rolling Acres Development Center. She was a joy to her family. Kalaiya loved watching Barbie and my Little Pony shows and interacting with people. She had the biggest and most beautiful smile that lit up a room when she entered. Kalaiya leaves her family to cherish her precious memory which includes her mother, Kristina (Roosevelt) LeFlore of Peoria, IL; father, Paris Dale, Jr. of Chicago, IL; three brothers, Elijah, Ju’Marion and Josiah all of Peoria, IL; maternal grandparents; Annette (Bobby, Jr.) Lewis of Peoria, IL, and Bobby (Paula) Rutherford of Grand Prairie, TX and paternal grandparents, Charletta Dale and Paris Keith Dale, Sr., both of Chicago, IL; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Lawrence and Barbara Taylor; paternal great grandmother, Mary Gaines; one uncle, Breon Rutherford and one cousin, Samone Gregory. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Simons Mortuary with a visitation at 11 am. Bishop Timothy Criss will officiate.
