Mr. Kandon-Lee I’yohann Bonner; 20 years young of Peoria, IL transitioned form this life and gained his Angelic Wings at 12:11 am on May 26, 2021. Kandon-Lee was born on February 6, 2001 to Kelli Bonner and Lonnie Page, Sr. Kandon attended Proctor Adult Learning Center and Larry’s Barber School. His family was his heart and soul, yet music was his passion. He could sing like an angel but had a special gift when it came to rapping. Kandon enjoyed cutting hair and playing basketball, still nothing gave him more joy than being a father and big brother. Kandon-Lee I’yohann Bonner is survived by his parents, Kelli Bonner and Lonnie Page, Sr.; his fiancé, Shalyssa Tinsley; his beautiful daughter A’Zariah Tinsley; two brothers, Brandon Knight all of Peoria, IL and Lonnie Page Jr. of Pekin, IL; four sisters, Andrea Adams, Lee’Jayvia Adams, Tionna Adams and Alexis Page all of Peoria, IL; grandmothers, Esther Bonner and Farrikkia Donley both of Peoria, IL and a host of loving aunts and uncles as well as a host of cousins. He is preceded in death by grandfathers, Freddie Lee and Donald Page and one sister, Anyia Bonner. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at First Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ Church, with a visitation beginning at 11 am. Pastor Leon Pace, Jr. will officiate. Simons Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at SimonsMortuary.com. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, social distancing and attendance limits will be observed. In accordance with the Illinois Department of Public Health, Funerals are limited to no more than 50% of the capacity of the church or less. To be consistent with recommendations from the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), funeral home directors have been instructed and should follow CDC guidelines on gatherings, including those directly related to funerals, visitations, or graveside services. Funerals are limited to no more than 50% of the decedent’s immediate family members. *In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we ask that everyone in attendance: wear a face mask and refrain from hugging, kissing and shaking hands (as hard as it is to see someone you care about and not touch them). *It is our responsibility as a Funeral Directors, to do everything we can to advise families in order to honor our beloved Families and to keep everyone as safe as possible.
