Legacy “Lil Leg” Amere Wilson-Parker, 2 months old son of Jamerika ML Wilson and grandmother, Kelly Young of Peoria, IL passed away at 8:07 am on Friday, November 12, 2021 at OSF ST. Francis Medical Center. Lil Leg was loved by many! He was always happy and always smiling! His grandma Kelly did a great job taking care of him while his mother, Jamerika Wilson was incarcerated. It hurts that he wasn’t able to live his life, it will be hard going on but we have to remember that God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers! Long Live Legacy, gone but never forgotten and that’s a promise. Little Legacy leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Jamerika Wilson, grandparents; Kelly Young both of Peoria, IL, Michael Wilson of Springfield, IL; great grandparents, Linda Wilson of Washington, DC, Linda Lawson of Peoria, IL, Michael Ashford of Ethel, MS and Johnny Young of Decatur, IL; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his great-great-grandmother, Catherine Crawford. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Simons Mortuary with a visitation beginning at 10 am.. Evangelist Regina Wilson will bring words of comfort.
