Mr. Quentin D’Juan Thomas, 19, of Phoenix, Arizona; formerly of Peoria, Illinois transitioned to his heavenly home on Friday, July 30, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ. Quentin was born on February 20, 2002 in Peoria, IL to Tamara Hopson and Eric Thomas. His early education was within Peoria District 150 Schools. He attended Richwoods High School before moving to California where he then attended Barstow High School. Quentin was a jokester. He loved clowning around with his family, teaching them the latest dance moves and spending quality time with them. Quentin enjoyed watching Anime Cartoons especially the series' Dragon Ball Z because of the adventures, compelling characters and storylines. His favorite time of the year was Halloween when he loved dressing up and scaring people. Quentin had an amazing talent for journaling and had written many journals. Among his many talents was playing basketball. Quentin leaves to cherish his precious memory his mother, Tamara (Grant Seibels) Hopson of Peoria, IL; his father, Eric Thomas of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, siblings, Dominique, Amir, India, Hope, Rita, Erica and Larica; his grandparents, Rita & Kevin McCreary and Barbara Thomas; his girlfriend, Jasmine Preciado; best friends whom he considered brothers, Ellias and Zion; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tamara Stephanie Thomas. A Graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Lutheran Cemetery. The family will gather at the cemetery at 11:30 AM. Rev. Dr. Mark A. McConnell, Pastor of New Cornerstone Baptist Church, will bring words of comfort.
