Ms. Rosie Lee McKeller, 66, of Peoria, IL, transitioned to her heavenly home at 1:28 am on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her residence. Rosie was born on July 15, 1955 in Cold Water, MS to Mary Louise (Washington) Brown and J.T. Massey. Rosie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with over 40 years of service. She spent the last 12 of her 40 years at Proctor Hospital as a CNA before her retirement. Rosie loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed watching Westerns, especially her favorite “Gun Smoke”. Rosie loved spending time with her grandchildren. Rosie leaves to cherish her precious memories, three sons, Willie Thomas, Andre Thomas and Eddie Binion; four daughters, Robin Fulara, Edwina Binion, Nichole Binion and Kenya Petty all of Peoria, IL; three brothers, Bishop Charles (Nell) Washington, Sr. of Peoria, IL, Charlie (Melanie) Willey of St. Louis, MO, and Willie (Brenda) Massey, Sr. of Memphis, TN; five sisters, Ruby Richardson, Julis Franklin and Ruby (Scott) Combs all of Peoria, IL, Bettie Willey of St. Louis, MO and Betty Massey of Memphis, TN; special sister-in-law, Bettye Anderson of Peoria, IL; thirty grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Willie “Sonny” Massey and Willie Massey and two sisters, Willie Mae Wellmaker and Mary Massey. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Sovereign Grace M.B. Church with a visitation prior beginning at 10 am. Bishop Timothy Criss will officiate.
