Mr. Timmy Lynn Ross Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Timmy Lynn Ross, 63, of Peoria passed on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. Born in Peoria, IL, on December 17, 1957, in Peoria, IL, he married Helen Ross on August 12, 1975, in Peoria, IL. She survives. Timmy worked for Archer Daniel Midland for more than 28 years. He was a devoted Muslim and loving father. Timmy gave his heart to working to provide for his family and loved spending time with his friends. Timmy loved boxing and his best friend, Forest Holcomb, would always Facetime him so he could watch the fight. We have suffered a devastating loss. There will be no other like him whose generosity and giving spirit will be missed, He never met a stranger he didn’t give to or a kid he didn’t give money or candy to. We will miss him always and forever. Also surviving are one son, Kaliph (Jamiya) Ross of Fort Worth, TX; one daughter, Wakeelah Ross of San Antonio, TX; three granddaughters, Kiely Ross, Lauryn Ross and Ziya Lewis; one grandson, Jalen Ross; and siblings, Gregory (Gia) Ross, James L. (Carol) Ross, Jr. and Dale (Cami) Ross. Timmy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Irma Ross; brother, Danny Brown; and sister, Laurita Ross. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Simons Mortuary. Brother Bashir Ali will bring words of comfort to the family.
