Ms. Andréa Olivia Meachem

Ms. Andréa Olivia Meachem, 29, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday November 15, 2022. Andréa was born in Vista, California on November 11, 1993 to Phillip Meachem, II and Doris Conaway. Andréa was the first grandchild of Phillip and Gloria Meachem and Robert and Shirley Bacon. Andréa was the first of three children. Andréa accepted Christ early and was baptized at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church in Grady, AR, by Pastor Sylvester Kearney. Andréa's love for her family and friends was profound. She loved being around people. Andréa graduated with her high school diploma from Watson Chapel High School in 2012. Upon completing high school, she received her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and became a licensed Phlebotomist. Andréa returned to school to pursue her dream job as an Esthetician. She received her license as an Esthetician from Salon Professionals in Sherwood, AR, in 2021. Her passion led her and her mom to become entrepreneurs and open up Alivia Beauty Co. Andréa's passions include traveling, doing make-up, and loving family and everyone. Andréa had a dream to become an Herbalist. She loved natural remedies and always spoke highly to people about caring for their bodies. Andréa loved to cook and swim, and she loved the ocean. When Andréa entered the room, her smile lit the entire room up. Andréa was very big on hugs and once again kept that smile on her face. Andréa loved parenting her dog Lucky. Andréa's memories will be forever cherished by her parents, Doris (Gary) Conaway and Phillip Meachm, II; brothers, Elijah and Joshua Meachem and Toran Conaway; grandparents, Phillip & Gloria Meachem of Peoria, IL; uncles, Patrick (Briggett) Meachem, Robert (Lori) Bacon Jr. and aunt, Melissa Bacon. Andréa also leaves behind two of her close friends, Jamelia Green and Shakera Williams, and her closet cousin Justina (DeAnthony), as well many other close cousins, family, and friends. Andréa was as preceded in death by her brother Phillip Meachem, III and her grandparents Shirley and Robert Bacon. A visitation will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., with services beginning at noon at New Community Church, 321 North Birch Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Interment will be at the Meachem Cemetery, 310 Harper Barker Road, Jackson, TN, on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Hardy Funeral Home, 2408 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Drive, Little Roc, AR has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
