Mr. Bobby Joe Cagle, Jr., 61, of Peoria, IL passed away at 9:06 am on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at UnityPoint Health Methodist. Bobby was born on July 18, 1960 in Peoria, IL to Eloise (Carter) Rayford and Bobby Cagle, Sr. Bobby was a 1979 Peoria Richwoods High School graduate. He loved his family. Bobby enjoyed all genres of music. He loved cars and eating chicken. Bobby leaves to cherish his most precious memories his mother, Eloise Rayford; five sons, Dauntae (Josette) Edwards, DeMarcus Edwards, Bobby Cagle, III and Bobby Edwards all of Peoria, IL and Terrance Drain of Memphis, TN; four daughters, Shanese (Donar) Cagle-Smith of Atlanta, GA, Latoya Drain of Peoria, IL, Natasha Drain and Michelle Drain both of Memphis, TN; seven brothers, Willie (Denise) Cagle, Sr., Brandyn (Michelle) Cagle, Sr., Darren (Tanya) Young, Rev. Jeffrey (LaSandra) Foreman, Derrick Roddy all of Peoria, IL, Keven Cockfield of Rockford, IL and Lynetee (Marie) Curley of Peoria, IL; seven sisters, Edna (Vernon) Johnson, Robyn (Houston) Owens, Jessica Foreman, Rhonda Cagle, Robin “Neicey” (Delvin) Owens, Tammy (LC) Rayford-Lobdell, Johnetta Rayford all of Peoria, IL: host of grandchilden; 1 great-grandson; a host of nieces, nephews, god-children other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his fathers, Johnie Rayford and Bobby Cagle, Sr.; 3 brothers, Kevin Cagle, Thomas “Cochise” Shelby and Brian Paige, 1 sister, DaVene Jackson and bonus mother, Gurthie Cagle. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Sovereign Grace M.B. Church with a visitation beginning at 9 am. Pastor Alvin Riley, Sr. will officiate and Pastor Clara Underwood of the Potter’s House International Church will bring forth the eulogy. Bobby will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery.
