Ms. Giella Michelle Davis, 51, of Peoria, Illinois passed away at 11:55 am on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at her residence. Giella was born on August 8, 1970 in Peoria, IL to Ella Mae Davis and William Johnson. Giella worked in housekeeping. She was a kind, gentle, loving and generous person, who loved her family. Giella was very outspoken and was the life of the party. She loved playing cards and travel. Giella leaves to cherish her most precious memory two sons, Donald (Alicia) Herron, Jr. of Peoria, IL and Vincent (Shalinda) Neal of Austell, GA; two daughters, LaKetra King and Tynia Jones; two brothers, Gary Stewart and Cornelius Randle; two sisters, Yvonne Timothy and April Davis all of Peoria, IL; 14 grandchildren and of host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, NaKeisha Neal. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Victory Christian Church with a visitation at 9 am. Pastor Charles “Chuck” Brown will officiate. Giella will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery. Simons Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements.
