Rev. Ralph Thomas Wrightner Stuckey

Rev. Ralph Thomas Wrightner Stuckey, 65, of Dunlap, IL passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Ralph was born on September 12, 1950 in Texarkana, TX to Edna Ruth Wrightner and Henry Stuckey, Sr. He married his soul mate, Gloria Williams, on June, 17, 2010 in Peoria. Ralph was an Army Veteran. He received an Associates degree from Illinois Central College. He received Bachelor degrees from Bradley and Texas A&M. He also received a degree in Culinary Arts. Ralph retired from Caterpillar in 2014 after many years of service. He was ordained minister at Star of Hope Full Gospel Church where he served as associate Pastor for many years. Ralph also served as Chaplain for the State of Illinois Department of Corrections. He was a past member of Word of Faith Christian Center. He was a faithful member of PrayerView Community Church. Ralph leaves to cherish his most precious memories his loving wife, Gloria L. Stuckey of Dunlap, IL; his step-mother, Gloria J. Stuckey of Flint, MI; his step-father, William Foote of Peoria; two daughters, Terra Wrightner of Chicago, Dynal “Jay” Wrightner of Peoria, four step-daughters, Denisha Foy of Dunlap, Nicole Williams of College Park, GA, Annette Williams of Tulsa, OK and Nia Crane of Peoria; one son, Christopher Wells of Peoria; six brothers, Andre (Dr. Leslie) McKnight of Peoria, Ronnie Nelson of Texarkana, TX, Henry (Lorna) Stuckey, Jr., of Los Angeles, CA, Gregory Stuckey and Floyd (Marilyn) Taylor both of Cedar Rapids, IA and Christopher Stuckey of Freeland, MI; four sisters, Andrea (Lyntee) Curley, Roberta Foote and Tanya Foote all of Peoria and LaToya Stuckey of Stockbridge, CA; nine grandchildren, Jordan, Cassidy, Christopher, Destini, TaTianna, Dion, Jr., Jaylin, Quinten and Alanea; two great grandchildren, Ka`Money and Kay`Onna; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Stuckey, Sr., his mother, Edna Ruth Foote and one brother, Charles Stuckey. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Star of Hope Full Gospel Church with a visitation two hours prior to the service beginning at 9 am. Bishop Joseph Johnson will officiate. Ralph will be laid to rest at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Military Honors, Monday, February 8, 2016 at 12 Noon.
