Infant Zy’Renity Shanece Thomas, 5 months and 17 days old, of Peoria, Illinois passed away at 11:38 pm on Friday, September 16, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Zy’Renity was born on March 29, 2022 in Peoria, IL to Jerrica Nichols and Zyronta Thomas. Zy’Renity leaves to cherish her parents, Jerrica Nichols and Zyronta Thomas; six brothers, John Williams, ZaKani Thomas, ZaKyez Thomas, Zyronta Thomas, Jr., Da’Meir Thomas and Ja’Meir Polnitz; four sisters, Jon’Aija Williams, Ja’Zyia Thomas, Zy’Onna Thomas and Za’Riyah White all both of Peoria, IL; maternal grandparents, Tabitha Stowers of Peoria, IL and Jesse Nichols of Iowa; paternal grandparents, Brandie Thomas-Weaver and Qualon Weaver both of Waco, TX; maternal great grandmother, Betty Roland of Peoria, IL; paternal great grandmother, Sally Mathis of Waco, TX; God Mother, Rev. Frances Kenon of Peoria, IL and a host of aunt, uncles and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Weaver. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Simons Mortuary with a visitation prior beginning at 10:30 am.
